The Mystic Irish Parade has officially announced Susette Tibus as the Grand Marshal for the 2026 Mystic Irish Parade, taking place Sunday, March 22, 2026.
A lifelong Mystic resident, Susette is a familiar and respected presence in the community. She is the co owner of Simply Majestic Jewelry and currently serves as President and CEO of the Mystic Aquarium. Her leadership history also includes serving as past president of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce and the Olde Mistick Merchants’ Association, along with years of service supporting local arts, public safety, and community initiatives.
The Mystic Irish Parade Foundation recognized Susette as a true reflection of the Mystic spirit. A longtime supporter and regular presence at the front of the parade, she has spent decades honoring, supporting, and contributing to Southeastern Connecticut in meaningful ways.
Now entering its 21st year, the Mystic Irish Parade has grown into the region’s largest Irish celebration, welcoming thousands of participants and tens of thousands of spectators each year. Naming Susette Tibus as Grand Marshal continues a tradition of recognizing leaders who strengthen the community through service, generosity, and connection.
