Winter nights in Mystic can be quiet, but not when DJ Deelish hosting karaoke at Friar Tuck’s. ❄️🔥

This past Thursday at Friar Tuck’s, I got to experience one of the most high-energy, feel-good karaoke nights I’ve been to in a long time. DJ Deelish (aka Deanna Larson) doesn’t just play music—she creates an atmosphere that makes everyone want to sing, jump, and celebrate. It didn’t matter if you were a karaoke pro or just there for the vibes—by the end of the night, everyone was part of the show.

And, of course, Friar Tuck’s was the perfect setting for it all. The locally owned Irish-English-American tavern sits right in historic downtown Mystic, tucked inside the Factory Square building. It’s already known for great food, solid drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere, but throw DJ Deelish into the mix, and you’ve got a recipe for an incredible night.

If you’ve never been to DJ Deelish’s karaoke, you need to put it on your list. She turns even the slowest winter nights into nonstop fun, and trust me—Mystic needed this energy! Already looking forward to the next one.
